About Support House Living

We provide transitional housing for women who have completed a rehab program or those who have decided to stop drinking or using and need a S.L.E. to start getting some clean time. All residents are required to attend regular12 step meetings, have a sponsor, and attend the weekly house meeting. There is an 8:00 pm curfew and it is lights out at 10:00 pm unless you work late. Each house is fully furnished with no bunk beds. All you need to bring is your clothing.

Safe Environment

We provide a safe and secure space for women in recovery. A live in manager ensures that no one is drinking, using, or behaiving in a mannor that is not condusive to being in recovery. These are single family homes, usually in quiet neighborhoods. Violence, threats, and intimidation are not all allowed.

Peer Support

At our clean and sober homes, everyone is at various stages in their recovery. Residents help each other through the ups and downs that come with staying sober. They live together like a family in a home like atmospher, not a hospital or church like atmosphere. At our homes residents help each other stay sober and re-integrate back in to society. We need no outside help or interference.

Together we keep each other sober

At Support house Living, we believe residents should not have to attend meetings that are not related to recovery. We believe that time is better spent working on themselves and concentrating on recovering from addiction. We have live-in house managers at each location to ensure residents come home to a clean and sober home every day. Random drug tests are administered as needed. Two women per room helps with accountability. If a resident gets by the manager after a slip, roomates are hard to avoid.

Support when it is needed most

Relapse is part of recovery. Not many of us got sober the first time. It usually takes a slip or two for us to realize that living a life of sobriety is just a better way to live. No one looses their place to live if they have a slip. We are not a licensed detox facility, so no one can detox in any of our homes. The resident is welcomed back after she is sober.
